I feel that I learn the most about photography by looking at the master's photographs.
Here is just a small selection of them:
Andreas H. Bitesnich
And then there are so many useful sites with a plethora of information:
The Luminous Landscape - lots and lots of information about analog and especially digital photography.
Don't miss the fabulous videos!
- at first a dedicated printed magazine about black and white photography, now with an extensive website including publisher Brooks Jensen's legendary podcast.
Lynda.com - a subscription based online video portal with training courses for just about all major software solutions and more
The Unblinking Eye - everything about analog photography
Das Kremayrhaus in Rust - the venue where I have my yearly exhibition during the weeks before Christmas
And here are some of my favorite books on amazon:
Ansel Adams "The Camera", "The Negative", "The Print" - probably the most complete book series about analog photographic technique written by the late great master himself
"The Digital Negative" and "The Digital Print" - the future standard references about digital photography, written by master photographer and expert Jeff Schewe
Bruce Barnbaum "The Art Of Photography" - one of the great contemporary masters writes about the art of photography
